White Ribbon Day 2017
On Monday the 4th of December Southampton will be supporting the international day for the elimination of violence against women and girls by holding a special event.

The event will take place between 12.30pm – 2.30pm at the Guildhall Square (West Marlands Road, Southampton, SO14 7LP) and is open to all.

We would like as many of Southampton City residents to gather in the Guildhall Square between 1.15pm & 1.30pm, to stand united, showing support with our black umbrella display and take part in a photo opportunity.

Southampton’s WRD 17 event will raise awareness, show global support to never commit or remain silent about men’s violence against women and girls.

Limited numbers of umbrellas are available, so please bring your own black umbrella to be part of the event. White Ribbons will be available on the day.

We are a group of specialist services in Southampton working to end domestic and sexual violence and abuse. You’ll find information on this website about us, our services and projects as well as details of where get help if you are experiencing abuse.
